This is probably the finest cameo you will ever have the opportunity to purchase. This cameo is made from black onyx and is beautifully carved. This piece dates to the Victorian era and dates circa 1850-60. The cameo itself is surrounded by beautiful pearls which appear to be natural pearls. The 14 kt yellow gold framework is done in the Etruscan style with beautiful detailing. The approximate dimensions are 2-7/8 height including bail x 1-7/8" width. It is 2-1/8" height without bail.
