Estate Multi Strand Pearl Choker Necklace

This is the most amazing saltwater pearl choker necklace you will ever see. there are eight strands of 5 x 5.5 mm pearls with beautiful uniformity and high luster. this is an estate pearl necklace and was most likely designed for some special lucky lady. The "centerpiece" of this exquisite necklace appears to have been handcrafted and is made of 18 kt yellow gold and is approximately 3-3/4" inches wide at widest point and approximately 1-1/4" high at the highest point. There is a hidden hinge on one end to open and close. It contains approximately 1-1/2" cts total weight of diamonds and approximately 15 cts tw of dark blue oval and pear cut sapphires. The name "Gage" has been engraved on the underside of the centerpiece. My assumption is that this was the name of the designer.

The pearls are 3.5 x 4 mm, well matched and good luster. The beautiful 14 kt white gold catch contains .54 cts total weight diamonds and serves double duty as a pendant. The catch can be removed from the pearls and has a pop up bail to turn it into a necklace. The catch is approximately 1-1/8" tall x 1/2" wide.
