Victorian Water Tipler
What a grand piece of silver! This is a wonderful piece of silveplated holloware known as a "tipler." The water kettle itself sits in a stand which allows the kettle to tilt and pour. The antique tipler was made by the wonderful Manchester Silver Company. The height of the kettle (or pitcher or tipler whichever you prefer to call it) is 14" and the width from lip to handle is 10-1/2" The height of the frame from top to bottoms is 20-1/2" and the width of the frame's base is 9-1/2." The accompanying cup or chalice is 4" tall x 3" wide.
